It is not an incremental change. It is a leap forward. It is uncanny how inventive and accurate it is at rendering. It is in many ways a master craftsman. It is like the most amazing thing to happen in art, probably ever.
That is what we need to be talking about, not squabbling over opt-in. We should encourage it, not hamstring it. If the results are transformative, and boy are they, that is all that matters.
It is the future. There is no stopping it. As a lifelong artist, I am so damn excited about it.
