AI is moving fast, and the hype machine is moving faster.
I feel like every week there's a new "revolutionary" AI feature that turns out to be... fine. Useful, maybe, but not world-changing.
What do you think is the most overhyped AI capability right now? And conversely, what's something that's actually delivering real value but not getting as much attention?
For me, the overhyped stuff is "AI agents that can do anything autonomously." The reality is always messier than the demo. But quiet improvements in code completion and document analysis have genuinely saved me hours.
What's your take?
