What I've seen so far makes me wonder if I'm missing something. It seems like replacing vocals in music is achievable with pretty decent results. You can also produce fairly convincing text to voice, that at least sounds like the persons voice.
but what about replacing spoken audio with someone else's voice? Are there tools capable of this?
I don't understand the technology well enough to speak on it, but it vaguely makes sense to my why recreating singing might be easier than, say, a speech. Anyone have any insight?
