Just got proplexity for free with Revolute. Started using it, and it amazes me how it never gets anything right. Even basic words, sentences.
And let’s not even talk about the voice mode. Does not understand very simple words, And the slide that shows that it can book tables and cabs, things like that, simply untrue. I tried saying Bolt taxi to it 12 times and each time it understood boat taxi.
It’s basically like using an LLMs that was made 10 years ago.
The deep research mode is just bad, give lots of references but no real explanation. I end up many times checking the actual sources to find out the info. Or just verifying it because it’s such nonsense.
Also, I feel like when I select the chat gpt model and then compare to same model on chat gpt site, proplexity manages to be worse every time! Like how do you even do that? It’s the same model.
I am mainly a chat gpt user, previously Gemini, and Porp is just a waaaay worst chat gpt, like iPhone 4 and iPhone 17 pro type of a comparison.
And it does not remember previously said things, so it does the research every time after you want to continue on a topic.
Wilddddd. I am immensely surprised
And also the fact that they claim things that it can not do, just makes things even worse.
Like it’s alright that the voice mode can’t book a cab or whatever, but it does not even understand the word CAB.
Guys… try chat gpt, the free version.
Let me know your thoughts. I just had to make this post as after lots of testing and usage and thinking about it all day, I just can not fathom this! (Not trying to offend anyone, just my honest experience)
Btw: posting here as they have deleted it from their community, I guess they are clearing negative opinions
