Have you noticed that prompting is like finding a lamp with a genie inside but having infinite wishes? However, the wishes only really work if you phrase them perfectly. This is a form of prompting. I believe that at some point in our lives most of us have imagined what we would wish for if we found a magical lamp with a genie inside. Most of us have probably imagined the very specific set of parameters we would need for our wish not to be turned around on us(afterall, the wishes can go really bad with bad prompting).
Nothing else. No big revelation. Just that we are not new to prompting. We have all imagined it our whole lives. Many of us are already masters at it and many will learn how as we progress, but it is just interesting to me that we have fantasized about this prompting before but I had never imagined we would find a way to use it in real life. Now it has become a necessary skill. The world we live in is wild!
I will take it a step further and say that I believe that prompting is a skill that can reach a very high level. To call it an art today may sound crazy but in a few years I believe it will be a skill that can improve our individual qualify of life. I will also say that AI can be addicting, seeing the output of a very detailed prompt but I would suggest that it is not just the OUTPUT that is addicting but the prompting itself. I can lose myself trying to get the correct data with prompts and time will pass quickly. This activity can be considered fun and eventually will be addictive in my opinion. Especially when we get to the stage where we are creating perpetual worlds for ourselves. I can see people losing themselves creating these worlds with only prompts!
