 | Hey all, Automata solving a non-trivial GitHub issue. Last week open-sourced a side project of mine that I shared with this subreddit. That resulted in some great conversation and feedback. One user's comment to adopt OpenAI's new function calling really stood out to me, as I wasn't aware that OpenAI had applied fine-tuning before that prompted me to dig deeper. I spent this last weekend grinding out the necessary changes. The pace of innovation in this space is so fast that it's hard to keep up as developer, and that's why it's so important to keep getting feedback. I have to say, these new changes have really made the agent more robust and I see a realistic path to self-coding making a non-trivial contribution to the codebase within the next 6 months.
