It’s time for the mining industry to use machine learning and artificial intelligence to solve it’s biggest question — where to explore and build mines?
Mining Industry Predictions
At Produvia, we predict the future of mining exploration will be driven by augmented intelligence, which combines artificial intelligence and human intelligence. Locations of future mines will be predicted using machine learning then validated by humans. Artificial intelligence software will analyze aerial photography and geological data to drive exploration decisions. Humans will validate machine predictions using on-site geological surveys, core samples, etc.
More Efficient Exploration
Geological exploration is a complex engineering task. At Produvia, we plan to develop mineral exploration software to achieve more efficient exploration and resource characterization. Engineers, technicians and technologists spend company resources to analyze satellite imagery and topographic data. We plan to aid engineering consultants and mining companies by providing intelligent software, so the technical workforce can focus on other engineering tasks.
Machine Learning for Mining Industry
Produvia will use machine learning and statistics to build mineral prediction models for prospect mine sites, based on aerial photography and ore deposits. At first, we will use public satellite imagery to build intelligent models. With time, Produvia will build more complex models utilizing mineral occurrences, faults, geology, geochemistry, geophysics, satellite imagery, topography, spacial data. These models will allow our clients to identify areas of interest and predict drilling results.
Predicting Mining Prospects and Mineral Deposits
We are building a software called Mapo, which can be used to predict mining prospects and mineral deposits. We are developing Mapo to solve the question of “where to explore?” We are still in development, but if you are interested in helping us launch earlier, send me an email. Visit Mapo website for more info.
About Slava Kurilyak
Slava Kurilyak is the CEO of Produvia Inc. After obtaining Bachelor’s of Civil Engineering (BEng), he worked for small, medium and large engineering consulting companies in Vancouver, British Columbia. He designed and implemented engineering solutions for civil and mining industries. Slava became interested in software and decided to learn programming on the side. Now he does software development, focusing on predictive software using artificial intelligence and machine learning.
About Produvia
Produvia is a software development company that builds custom software solutions for engineering and mining companies. We specialize in creating predictive software using artificial intelligence and machine learning. Work with us and be one of the first companies to use artificial intelligence to drive mining decisions. Learn more about Produvia.
