  1. The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai has launched the Center for Ophthalmic Artificial Intelligence and Human Health, the first of its kind in New York and one of the first in the United States.[1]

The United States military has begun tests to see if generative AI can assist when planning responses to potential global conflicts or taking on more mundane tasks like providing faster access to internal information. Air Force Colonel Matthew Strohmeyer said the initial tests were “highly successful” but admitted it isn’t “ready for primetime right now.”[2]

  4. World’s most advanced humanoid robot, Ameca, draws a cat. Engineered Arts, a company that designs, engineers, and manufactures humanoid robots, which is also behind Ameca, has now given Ameca the power to imagine drawings.[4]
