  1. Last week, Microsoft released the first public beta version of Windows 11, which includes the highly anticipated AI assistant, Copilot. This move marks Microsoft’s commitment to embracing AI across its products. Copilot, based on the GPT model, has already been integrated into various Microsoft products, such as Bing, Edge, Microsoft 365, Dynamic 365, and SharePoint.[1]
  2. Google AI introduces MediaPipe Diffusion plugins that enable controllable Text-To-Image generation on-device.[2]
  3. The U.N. Security Council will hold a first-ever meeting on the potential threats of AI to international peace and security, organized by the United Kingdom which sees tremendous potential but also major risks about AI’s possible use for example in autonomous weapons or in control of nuclear weapons.[3]
  4. Over the weekend, Google updated its privacy policy to allow the company to collect and analyze information people share online to train its AI models.[4]
