So... My game is text-based, but I know that people like graphics, so wanted to decorate it with 2D illustrations. I used AI - mostly Stable Diffusion, sometimes Night Cafe. I wanted two things:
- to have coherent style of dark fantasy/fairy tale/legend,
- to be sure that nobody will complain "You are using stolen art! Find real artist and pay him for using his creations!".
So... In all my prompts I used phrase "by Gustave Dore" (e.g. "Demon of fire by Gustave Dore"). This way if someone would be complaining or try to sue me, I will answer "All images are inspired by crations of classical artist, which are in public domain".
What do You think?
