Landing a job in AI, while being a complete noob

Hi!

Im currently doing a Master's degree in AI (background in computer science) and have 1 year to go. I have worked as a software developer in the industry for a year and thats about it with some additional personal projects here and there, some also AI related.

What's a good way to get a job as an Artificial Intelligence engineer or ML engineer? Looking at the market, everyone's searching for either PhD's, senior engineers etc and it seems close to impossible to get your foot between the door there.

Any suggestions on how to make myself more attractive for these kind of positions, is it even reasonable to try to land such a job as a junior in AI?

Cheers!
