Is this the way it’s going — from claymation to 3D to AI?

When Jurassic Park was being made, the claymation team saw the new 3D dinosaurs and said, “We’re going extinct.” Spielberg even used that line in the movie. It was a moment when one form of art was overtaken by another — faster, more powerful, more real.

Now it feels like we’re at a similar turning point with AI. Just as 3D transformed animation, AI seems ready to transform the entire creative process — writing, art, filmmaking, even music. But does that mean artists are going “extinct” again, or just evolving into something new?
