“what’s the best CRM?”

“is this tool worth it?”

“alternatives to X”

And they just… trust the answer.

Which made me realize something weird:

There’s no way to know:

if your product is even mentioned

how it’s being described

or if competitors are showing up instead

So I tried something simple:

I tracked how one brand is talked about across Reddit, X, and news for a week.

And the result was messy.

Different tone, different narratives, different positioning depending on the platform.

Now imagine AI pulling from all of that and merging it into one answer.

That answer becomes your “brand” to the user.

So now I’m wondering:

👉 Are we entering a world where “AI visibility” matters as much as SEO?

Or is this still too early to care about?
