I have noticed that some chat bots with artificial characters seem to have been trained on fanfiction, conversations with users and characters created by users. Apart from dangers inherent with children and vulnerable people using it- it seems super unfair that people who somehow contributed to the making of these characters are not reimbursed. Does anyone have insight into the creation of these characters? Also, what can be done to ensure that creators are reimbursed?
