Google’s AI generated response to a “commonly asked question” about the Talmud (a Jewish religious text) lifts from a Wikipedia article about a work of Antisemitic propoganda, and authoritatively restates those allegations as fact.

This is the response google AI gives for the question “what does the Talmud say about Christianity?” It provides, sans context, the allegations contained within an infamous work of Porto-Nazi propoganda, as described in the Wikipedia article on that work.

This is clearly not okay and a great example of why companies like google need to be a lot more conscientious when they are implementing these features. This is also hugely embarrassing for google. How have they not noticed this yet?
