Warning: My experience with Equal AI Assistant app - Potential Scam
I wanted to share my experience with the Equal AI Assistant app to warn others. While it claims to handle calls, it frequently misses them. During my trial period, I tried contacting their support multiple times regarding these performance issues.
After numerous attempts, I finally spoke to a human, but the service was terrible. I was repeatedly given the same robotic response that my concerns were noted and I would receive a callback, which never happened. Emails go completely unacknowledged as well.
Today, when I called again, the representative was initially soft-spoken but quickly turned extremely rude and curt. When I pointed out that I had heard the same empty promises twice before, she simply said "okay fine" and hung up on me.
Based on the lack of support, the rude behavior, and the app's failure to perform basic functions, I'm convinced this is a scam designed to harvest information from your phone. Please be careful and avoid this app.
