Did you see this coming?

Before chat GPT released to the public I was clueless. I had no idea how far AI technology had come and how close we were to it totally taking over.

Before 2023, were any of you expecting this? Was there some indicators or was it totally out of the blue? Did OpenAI keep all this secret?
