What are your favorite (online) resources to learn / keep up with AI? I took plenty courses, and for me, Stanford’s machine learning specialization with Andrew Ng on Coursera was the gateway into this field as someone without a technical background.

What are your favorite AI-related sci-fi movies? I find it uncanny how often science fiction ends up being a realistic predictor of what will happen in a few decades. Almost as if sci-fi is a precursor to basic science, just as the latter is to applied science…

I witnessed it countless times in myself and others: Cognitive biases = showstoppers for adopting innovations like AI. Why? Because biases are triggered by factors like uncertainty, conflicts etc. – which are characteristic for this field. How do you manage this for yourself and those around you?

Psychological hurdles like the confirmation bias can slow down our AI adoption. Applying techniques like devil’s advocate can help us overcome them. Especially in innovative fields like AI, with high complexity, conflicts & time pressure, biases emerge more often and need to be effectively managed.
