Are automation workflows becoming too rigid?

I've been thinking about a different way to approach Al automation.

Today, you usually either build a workflow:

Trigger > Condition > Action

or prompt an Al whenever you need something done.

What if you could simply say:

"Keep my job applications organized."

The Al would continuously watch the sources you connect (email, files, websites, screen, APIs, etc.)

understand what changes, decide what matters, take the necessary actions, verify the result, and keep

working.

Goal > Observe > Understand > Act > Verify > Continue

Would this actually be useful to you? What would you trust an Al to continuously take care of and

where would you draw the line?
