Depending on who you listen to, AI is going to create an age of abundance, eventually destroy us, or turn out to be far less transformative than the hype suggests.
Right now, the reality seems a lot less dramatic. AI is already changing how people work, automating some tasks while augmenting others, and we’re starting to see some impact on jobs. But we’re still early enough that it’s hard to know where this ultimately leads.
