I’ve been working on a fantasy story for a few years, and a while ago, I decided to use ChatGPT to organize my thoughts, by telling it the story through a series of long messages, asking for feedback on each of them. This worked fine for the most part, but after a certain point, I noticed that it was asking about things that were already answered. I tried asking it a couple of very simple questions, such as the names of important characters, and it just started making things up. So evidently, it completely loses its memory of certain information that it is told after a certain amount of messages. I was wondering if anyone knows of any Ai that is as “smart” as chatgpt, but won’t forget things after a few messages.
