I used to feel proud when my professors appreciated my projects — hours of sleepless nights, research, and trying to make things perfect. It felt good to know that my effort showed.

But now, AI has changed everything. Someone who never paid attention in class can just type a few prompts and produce something that looks polished, professional — even “brilliant.” And the professor can’t really tell the difference anymore.

I’m not jealous — it just feels unfair. Students who actually learn, think, and build from scratch are now on the same level as those who just ask AI for answers. It’s like effort doesn’t matter anymore — only output does.

Sometimes I wonder if all that hard work was just to compete with a chatbot.
